袁惟仁日前傳出無法認人，呈植物人狀態，兒子、女兒都著急想見，本想開車過去，但疫情再起，加上兒女各有狀況，讓陸元琪決定緩緩。

袁義從小愛看飛機，小六時，袁惟仁送他整套攝影器材，陪他去松山機場、濱江路旁拍飛機，原本夢想長大當機長，但長年拍攝各種飛機姿態，也拍出攝影興趣，後來愛上徐佳瑩，就經常拎著相機去演唱會拍照，當時遇上還沒娶徐佳瑩的導演比爾賈，從此視比爾賈為偶像。袁義在學校參與各種攝影比賽，並傾全力擔任副導拍作品，每天弄到半夜甚至清晨才回來，沒想到日前清晨5點突然打電話回家，竟是累到睡著撞車。

陸元琪心疼說，所幸只有車子撞傷，人沒事，「我從小就在演藝圈，知道當演員的還能輪流偷時間小睡，工作人員則全程無休把工作做好，最爆肝的就是幕後人員，發生事情後我在想，為什麼我當初要這麼開心他喜歡拍照的事，說實話，這行非常辛苦，又賺不到錢，內心萌生要他找別的工作的想法。」袁義出事後心情忐忑，深怕為母親添麻煩，還想多接工作來補修車費，所幸保險足夠應付，陸元琪也因為兒子的事，從此開車特別小心，畢竟她是一家支柱肩負看照重任。

袁義其實有才，念大二就開始接工作，目前在當小S「小姐不熙娣」的平面攝影。日前傳出袁惟仁因之前摔傷，已成沒反應的植物人狀態，袁義和妹妹袁融都急著想看爸爸，但想好時間，要訂機票，袁融又發生之前在校請病假出問題被學校留校，陸元琪說：「加上疫情蠢蠢欲動，不知孩子的爸有沒有打疫苗，所以等過完年狀況平穩後，再帶他們去。」
